Sharon Ahlquist holds a Doctor of Education degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the University of Leicester, England. Starting out as a teacher of English as a foreign language, she now works in teacher education at Kristianstad University in the south of Sweden, where she has lived for almost thirty years. She trains future teachers of all age groups, with a particular soft spot for the ages 10-13, where her Storyline research has been conducted. Sharon has presented at every Storyline conference since 2003. In her free time she enjoys travel, reading and trying to keep fit.
