Storyline: When learning becomes a storyPaper
Even in a school where everything seems exactly prescribed and controlled learning can be different. That is why we need dedicated teachers with passion. We also must have principals who encourage and empower these teachers.
We started to use Storyline in our school three years ago. Today it is being used in the learning process for most of the compulsory subjects for the fifth class, partially in the first three classes and occasionally in higher classes.
Storyline enables the development of innovative learning environments.
The advantages of this method are the integration of different subjects and the encouragement of a more co-operative style of learning. The method is based on the social inclusion of all pupils, which is important for their personal development and good socialization. In this way the pupils experience learning as a challenge and have their curiosity reinforced. Learning becomes a story which we create ourselves.
